WorldLink has launched a new internet package called “Gamers Pack” dedicated to online gamers. Targeted especially at the thriving PUBG players and Esports community in Nepal, the high-speed packages have already been announced following their tests by prominent Esports players and are claimed to deliver up to 75% latency improvement, says the company. Find out the speeds, package & price, and more about this gaming package below.

While launching the package virtually on Facebook Live, the company shared that it was a result of 8 months of study into the gaming issues on its connection. After identifying what were the major issues plaguing smoother gaming for Nepali gamers, the company reached out to PUBG who were also ready to lend a hand. Rest assured, the WorldLink Gaming Package ensures a thoroughly smooth and elevated gaming experience.

Likewise, the players have offered very positive feedback on the performance of the Gamers Pack internet performance. WorldLink says that the players experienced extremely low latency while playing with the WorldLink gaming package internet.

Key gaming issues!

WorldLink said that its study found high latency and low device memory (RAM) to be the major issues affecting lag-free gameplay with the former being overwhelmingly dominant. The ISP identified that 85% of glittered gaming experiences emanated from high latency.

PUBG players get different but low latency in matching players as Nepali players connect to Indian or Singapore servers. WorldLink says that it has “tremendously lessened” latency in its gaming package.

WorldLink Gaming Package Comes With WiFi 6 Router

The package comes with a Pro Gaming WiFi 6 router from Nokia which elevates the broadband experience to a new level with the support of next-generation Wireless Communication support. Particularly, the WiFi 6 router backed by WorldLink’s high-speed bandwidth capacity will drive down the latency to its minimum, the key for smooth and responsive online gaming.

The WiFi 6 router supports tri-band frequency and you can use an extension with a Beacon router or a Mesh system to extend the coverage further. With this advanced router setup, whether you are playing a game close to the main router or in a distant room, you can get a high-performing and consistent broadband performance. The router is free of cost on a yearly subscription.

WorldLink says that it’s the first time such cooperation has been achieved leading to the launch of a gaming package.

In Nepal, around 45 lakh smartphone users are in mobile gaming. Of the total, about 80% play on their handsets, 15% resort to their PCs and 5% enjoy gaming consoles.

Up to 75% PUGB Gaming Improvement with WorldLink Gamers Pack

WorldLink claims that its gaming pack brings up to 75% improvement in PUBG gaming. Showing stats from its study, the ISP stated that its dedicated gaming packages improve latency in PUBG gaming in all three modes. As per the company, players get around 25-100 ms latency in the Classic Mode in its gaming package while on other ISPs’ connections, the figure stood at 70-100 ms, claims WorldLink. The figure indicates up to 75% improvement in the popular PUBG gaming mode.

Likewise, in Arena, players can expect 20-75 ms latency which is another 75% improvement. The ISP has also improved latency figures in other game modes clocking 16-75 ms which is up to 60% compared to other ISPs’ data as per WorldLink.

Gaming Packages: A new trend in Nepal!

The Esports craze is gripping young enthusiasts and overall smartphone gaming is on a rising trend. So, it seems ISPs have realized the value of bringing a dedicated gaming package for gamers. Unlike a regular residential plan, a gaming internet package brings not just a high-speed package but also ensures low latency which is extremely vital for online gaming.

A gaming package with a WiFi 6 router would further elevate the user experience. The sixth-generation WiFi standard allows for up to 9.6 Gbps theoretical download speed. Additionally, 1024-QAM, high-speed bandwidth support, and the ability to support similar broadband speed across the connected devices make for a very satisfying online gaming experience.

WiFi 6 is available in Nepal and with ISPs launching a gaming package, they could soon become a favorite among the heavy internet users. For now, you can wait a few days till WorldLink announces its gaming internet packages.

Back in April 2022, WorldLink and PUBG reached a deal to enhance the gaming experience for Nepali online gamers. The latest internet plan aligns with that very agreement. Before that, they also cooperated in testing PUBG servers in Nepal.

How much bandwidth speed do you want WorldLink to offer with its gaming package? You can share in the comment section below
