In a press release issued today, Ncell declares to invest additional 70 billion rupees in two years span, which does not include the previously announced 16 billion amount. Such huge amount will be spent for the telecom infrastructure, Operation and Maintenance. The company claim that following the acquisition, they have already started to use modern/ advanced/ efficient technologies for the expansion of their network and customers reach to communication. The company also assures its commitment to long term investment in the telecom sector of Nepal, providing connectivity to remotest places of Nepal, thus aiding in the development of the country.

The company even loudly cheers for their affiliation with one of Asia’s largest Telecom group, Axiata and that will help the company foster not only as a telecom operator but also as a business citizen for social economic prosperity of the country.  The press release quotes some words from their Managing director Mr. Simon Perkins.

Along with the new logo, the company also provides new offer to its customers, valid from Shrawan 32, Tuesday. The new offer for all Ncell customers will provide 50 minutes of on net talk time and 500 SMS. Customers need to dial *17121# to activate the offer, through which they can call any other Ncell numbers for 50 minutes and send 500 SMS for free.  The talk time and SMS is valid for a week period.
