Update: Nepal Telecom admits that there was a problem in some location of Kathmandu. They have even posted a status in their official Facebook account, saying that the problem noticed in the morning, is solved now. They even apologizes to their customers for the problem and appreciates customers patience for the period when NT engineers took to solve the problem. Nepal Telecom iterates its commitment not to let such incident happen in the future.
Earlier, It is known that there’s a problem in Nepal telecom’s mobile network from one hour in Kathmandu. As the holiday begins from today with the festive mood, people have noticed network problem today in the morning. Lots of customers are suffering with this problem. Many are even complaining the problem to our social medias. When we queried to some people inside Kathmandu, they happen to unnoticed the problem. So we cannot tell where exactly the mobile network problem is. We have also got some complain from Chitwan but we are not sure about the other locations outside Kathmandu.
One of the complainer in Kathmandu told us that the mobile signal fluctuates regularly and even if they get signal in their mobile, it is not possible to make a call. It is also not sure whether the same problem is in CDMA sky phone also. Some even complain that call if successful is not audible.
Mobile network is problematic like this, as the festive season starts from today. When tested, we also found the similar mobile network problem at our area.
