ZTE launches Nubia Z17 in an event in Beijing. This is a premium phone from the Chinese company. ZTE Nubia Z17 is the first phone to include quick charge 4+. The phone with 3200 mAH charges to 50 percent in 20 minutes. It is also the second Chinese phone (after Xiaomi Mi6) to include Snapdragon 835 processor at 2.4 GHz. Recently another phone from Father of Android, called Essential PH-1 released with Snapdragon 835 processor.
The phone has got 5.5 inch IPS display with thin bezels. There are two RAM versions of the phone with 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage or 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM/ 128 GB storage. The phone does not include expandable memory card slot.
It has dual rear camera setup with 23 MP and 12 MP with 2x optical zoom, f 1.8 aperture. The camera in the front is 16 MP f 2.0 with 80 degree wide angle for selfies. The phone also includes Dolby Atmos sound as available in other high end ZTE phones. There is a fingerprint sensor in the back of the phone.
Nubia Z17 runs on latest Android Nougat 7.1.1, with Nubia UI 5.0 over the top. There is a feature NeoPower 3.0 to remove unnecessary background processes for increasing performance and battery life.
The phone has got LTE 1800 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2100 MHz support with Cat 9 UE category of DL 450 Mbps. The phone is available in 5 colors namely: Blue, Black Gold, Black, Solar Gold, and Flame Red.
The phones have just been announced which will be available china exclusive for now. It will be made available to other areas soon. ZTE is here officially in Nepal but it will take some time to be here. Tell us if you want to buy this phone.
