PM to inaugurate Nepal Telecom’s 4G soft launch

Now it is official that Nepal telecom will launch its 4G service in major cities of all the 7 provinces from Ashoj 15, 2076. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will himself inaugurate the soft launch event of Ntc 4G service. NTC also provides some special data pack for the 4G LTE launch offer. Now, Ntc has expanded the 4G service to 32 districts. Read more on the detailed location of Ntc 4G network availability after launch. With the availability of 4G service, people can make access to different advanced services including high definition Video through high-speed internet. The nation wide 4G mobile broadband will also aid in delivery of education, health, social services through multimedia and electronic means.

The 4G service is based on LTE technology (Long term evolution) which also includes some of the latest advancements in mobile technology. Such advanced technology usage will have a key role in implementing 5G service in some areas in the near future.

The 4G technology now used by NTC is not only a major upgrade to the current mobile technology but also an enduring solution for Ntc’s service expansion to all the places.

As we already know, Nepal Telecom first launched the 4G LTE network in Kathmandu and Pokhara from Jan 1, 2017. Nepal Telecom also made 4G LTE contracts on Feb 2019 for the expansion of 4G service all over Nepal. For core network, Ntc had a deal with ZTE Corporation whereas CCSI Hong Kong got the project for Radio network.

The company says they have been working so hard to complete all the works of 4G expansion within a year. With all of their efforts, they are successful to bring 4G service to major areas of the country in all provinces.

If you have not subscribed 4G LTE till now, you can first check if your SIM supports 4G by dialing *444#. It will tell you if your SIM can get into 4G mobile network. Ntc has made the new SIM replacement free of cost. If your SIM is ready, you can easily subscribe 4G service but we suggest you to do the subscription only after the 4G launch on Ashoj 15, 2076. Upon activation of the Ntc 4G service for the first time, the customer will also get 200 MB free. The offer comes as a part of the NTC Dashain offer 2076.

NTC 4G launch offer

On the occasion of its 4G launch, Ntc has also decided to provide an attractive data pack. The all-time data pack available in Ntc will have a 100 % data bonus at the same price.

Upon purchase of 200 MB data at Rs 25, the customer will get the same 200 MB data as a bonus. So the total data volume will be 400 MB. The data pack can be used for 24 hours period.

Similarly, the data pack of 500 MB at Rs 100 will get 500 MB as bonus data. The 500MB+500MB data can be used for 7 days period.

Customers can get an extra 1.5 GB of data with the purchase of 1.5 GB data pack at Rs 240. So, the total amount of data be 3 GB that can be used for 28 days.

All three data pack will be available to subscribe from Ashoj 15, 2076 as a 4G LTE offer. So we request you to check only after the launch.
