Nepal Telecom (NTC) has sponsored the men and women Football team of Nepal Police Club. The sponsor period is for a year and the agreement has been done on Mangsir 11, 2076.
Nepal Telecom’s MD Mr. Dilli Ram Adhikari and Nepal Police’s IGP Mr. Sarbendra Khanal signed the deal in Kathmandu.
With the deal, Nepal Telecom will provide Rs 32 lakhs to Nepal Police Club.
For one year, all of the Jersey/T-shirts of the Nepal Police team will have the logo of Nepal Telecom. They shall wear Jersey with the Nepal Telecom logo in both national and international games. Nepal Police’s Jersey will not only have the logo stamped in the right but also include the Nepal Telecom text in the middle. Similarly, there will be the NT 4G logo in the front of the half pant. Nepal Telecom can also use Nepal Police Men and Women football team’s name and photo in their promotional pamphlets and more.
Both of the organizations are Government entities, where partnership and deals are made in Government level. Whereas we can see some leverages for both the entities. Nepal Telecom can promote its products and brand through the team whereas Nepal Police club can develop their football team with the support of the largest telco of Nepal.
Nepal Telecom has been supporting Nepal Police Club for some years. In the absence of the A division league, such kind of sponsorship was halted in recent times. But as the Dasarath Rangshala Stadium is ready to host the 13th SAG games, we shall see “A” division football teams playing in the stadium soon. So, this partnership was done just ahead of the announcement of the Sahid Smarak A division league.
Head of the organizations “Nepal Telecom” and “Nepal Police” expressed their delights in such collaboration with which sports can contribute to the nation’s harmony and reputation. It will also help to enhance the football game and the player’s capacity.
In the program, Several senior officials of Nepal Telecom and Nepal Police were present along with the players of the Men and Women football team.
