Oppo F15 has launched in Nepal on 16th March 2020, which is a successor to Oppo F11. They claim to provide more exotic features that could accompany users in several aspects. This time the smartphone carries extraordinary features: new slim design, 20W VOOC Flash Charge, in-display fingerprint sensor along with the quad rear camera. Design and Display
Oppo F15 has become 10% thinner compared with its old versions having 7.9mm thickness with a 6.4-inch FHD+ ALMODED display with 160.2*73.3*7.9mm (6.31*2.89*0.31 inch) dimensions. The smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front preventing it from marks and scratches along with plastic black and plastic frame that can survive through 1.6 meters drop.
The phone has a full view display with 85.5% screen to body ratio. The display also consists of a small teardrop notch to house the front camera.
The phone comes with a resolution of 1080*2400 pixels having a pixel density of 411 PPI and an aspect ratio of 20:9. DC dimming 2.0 feature of the phone protects your eyes while watching videos in low lighting conditions.
Having a weight of 172 g, we can say that the phone had become 10% more light with one-handed ergonomic grip packing best F series Features.
It contains four rear cameras at the back arranged vertically and one selfie camera at the center. The phone comes with two breathtaking shades inspired by color moving lights that shimmer with your every move.
Chipset and RAM/Storage
Oppo F15 is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, octa-core processor consisting of 2.1GHz Cortex A73 quad-core and a 2GHz Cortex A53 quad-core. The phone supports 8GB RAM which can help in playing games on a smartphone in an efficient way. It also makes the phone perform better during multiple tasks.
It has an internal storage of 128 GB which can be expanded up to 256 GB. Oppo claims that the PUBG frame rate stability has increased by 55.8% and AOV possibility of Lag decreased by 17.4%. Oppo F15 has credited with Certification of High Performance by TÜV Rheinland.
Oppo F15 flaunts 4 cameras at the back that are arranged vertically. The primary camera consists of a 48 MP (f/1.8) sensor using 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to capture sharp images even at the low light conditions. Secondly, the smartphone is offered with an 8MP (f/2.3) ultrawide angle camera accompanied by 2-3 cm 2 MP (f/2.4) macro sensor and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor with a flashlight which is uniquely elongated. The front camera is located at the top-notch in the center with 16 MP (f/2.0) featuring HDR.
Oppo F15 also features the Electronic Stabilization Image (ESI) anti-shake feature allowing you to take videos with an internal gyroscope. The AI Beautification Algorithm helps you to take perfect portraits taking your skin beauty to the next level. The portrait feature even works in group selfies and videos as well. The portrait bokeh effect can help you blur the background. Night portrait and Portrait HDR are also featured in the given phone increasing the quality of photographs.
It has a 4000 mAh capacity Li-ion cell battery along with VOOC fast charge 3.0. Users can have two hours-long talk-time just with 5 minutes of charge and 50% with 30 minutes of charging. Thanks to its powerful VOOC charging feature.
Oppo F15 also has 0.32s in-display fingerprint 3.0 scanner that unlocks phones instantly making it easy for users. The new sensor on the phone uses a special filter protecting the phone from fake fingerprints.
Similarly, the phone provides a smooth gaming experience to its users and the Noise Cancelling Effect can reduce noise in the gaming sounds which enhances the gaming quality.
Although the phone supports 4G LTE in Nepal, it does not support 800 MHz band that is used with the Nepal Telecom network. There will be no issue for the 4G LTE support in city areas whereas if you go to remote areas, chances are you may get 800 MHz 4G network only.

Oppo F15 has launched in Nepal on 16th March 2020 and will be available in all retail stores from March 23. The price of Oppo F15 is Rs.39,990 for the 8GB RAM version.
When comparing Oppo F15 with Vivo S1 Pro of a similar price, Vivo offers the same quad-camera but of glam Diamond shape. Similarly, Vivo S1 Pro has more battery capacity (4500 mAh) than that of 4000 mAh in Oppo F15. The front camera in Vivo S1 pro is also 32 MP over 16MP in F15. The Vivo S1 pro also has Snapdragon 665 processor for all those who prefer Qualcomm processor.
Looking to the specs sheet comparison over Redmi K20, Oppo F15 comes with 8GB RAM over 6GB of K20. Oppo F15 has a quad camera with a macro sensor that Redmi K20 lacks in the triple rear camera. But all those who prefer full view display (possible with a 20 MP pop-up selfie camera) may opt for K20.
