Realme Grabs the Top 6 Position in Worldwide Smartphone Market

Realme, a well-known brand providing value for money smartphones has grabbed the top 6th position in the smartphone market worldwide. Offspring company from BBK Electronics China, Realme smartphones has conducted 15 million smartphone shipments according to Counterpoint Research. The growth rate is a whopping 135.1% YoY in Q2 2021. This company only took 3 years span to be in the Top 6th position among the likes and popularity of counterpart companies like Xiaomi.

Founder & CEO Sky-Li is proud of tasting this success in the tough market of smartphones and has quoted, “In the past three years, we are like a newborn calf making little of a tiger as well as a real go-getter”. He has also stated about the young team under 29 facing various hurdles and difficulties but still being able to thrive in the competition, setting a new trend.

Commencing from a nondescript brand, Realme has already got into 61 markets worldwide and falling under the top 5 in over 18 of these markets. Philippines is the number one market for this brand as it managed to brag the top position in Q1 & Q2 of 2021 according to multiple global research firms. Just last month, this Chinese brand went in blazing speed for shipping 100 million smartphones making it the fastest brand to do so.
