Nepal Telecom (NTC) and the Ministry of Federal Affairs & General Administration (MoFAGA) have agreed to expand Ntc’s telephone and broadband services to all local government (ward levels) across Nepal. The state telco will collaborate with the government, MoFAGA at an institutional level to bring connectivity across the country.

With this multilateral cooperation, NTC (Nepal Telecom) will bring its telephone and broadband internet services to ward offices, health centers, community schools, and other government offices to all local levels.

MoFAGA will coordinate with interested local level entities and NTC to establish telecom services. The Ministry will gather data of offices that demand telephone and broadband services. Then, it will reach out to NTC and facilitate the installation of the services.

Similarly, the Ministry will utilize the Rural Telecommunications Development Funds (RTDF) and cooperate with NTC and local levels. Besides, it will assist in obtaining the Right of Way for service expansion at local levels.
