Nepal Telecom (NTC) has requested local-level offices to contact them if there’s no mobile or internet service access. In a notice released on Chaitra 16, 2081, the company emphasized the importance of broadband services for daily work and urged local governments to approach in the absence of the company’s services.

NTC’s approach comes amidst its wide coverage across Nepal. The company has expanded NT Fiber in 77 districts, while over 98%of local levels have 4G access. At this stage, the company wants to ensure that all the local government offices have at least one of its services.

“Nepal Telecom provides at least one of its mobile/NT FTTH fiber/VSAT/lease services in all 753 local levels. However, if the internet and telephone services are still not available for the daily functioning of offices in any local level, you are requested to contact the following telephone/mobile numbers,” the company said.

The company issued the contact of its Backbone Broadcasting Directorate, Babarmahal- 015707621 (telephone) and 9851087654 (mobile). The company also said that offices can contact their nearest NT office for its services.
