Vianet appoints banker Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri as its independent director

Nepal’s leading ISP Vianet has appointed experienced banker Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri as an independent director to its board of directors. Chhetri, a skilled and experienced personality in the banking sector, joined the board of Vianet as per the decision of the company’s board of directors.

From now on, Chhetri will play a key role at Vianet as its new independent director. He will have a great position at the prestigious ISP, which has been the first to introduce fiber internet, IPTV, and more.

Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri is renowned in the banking and financial sector of Nepal. He started his career in 1986 at Grindlays Bank (Currently Standard Chartered Bank). Then, he served at other prestigious banks such as Nepal Bank, Citizens Bank International, Bank of Asia in various positions.

Chhetri also served as CEO of Janata Bank and Global IME Bank. He retired from the position of CEO of Global IME Bank in 2020.

Vianet has welcomed experienced banker Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri to its board. The ISP expresses confidence that his experience from various fields for over three decades will help lead the company towards stronger and sustainable growth in the coming days.

Vianet is one of the leading ISPs in Nepal with over 3.15 lakh customers. The company provides broadband internet, IPTV, and other digital solutions.
