Nepal Telecom (NTC) Provincial Directorate Office, Pokhara, has requested everyone concerned to return/not use stolen recharge cards that were taken during the Gen Z protests. In a notice, the office shared that over 70,000 of its recharge cards have been taken away from the building in Mahendrapul, Pokhara, and shared their serial numbers to help retrieve them.

The incident took place during the Gen Z protests on 2082-05-24 in which the state telco’s building was partially vandalized. And as it happened, some people chanced on the occasion and looted recharge cards.
