Nepal Telecom (NTC) has started 4G and 2G services in Sarkegad Rural Municipality- 1 of Humla district. The start of advanced telecommunications services benefits residents in Jilagaun, Majhgaon, Ghitagaun, Nauli, Lum, etc., in wards no. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6.
NTC’s 4G service expansion has been aggressive in the Humla district of Karnali province. Prior to this, the company launched 4G and 2G in Baraihigaun, Saru Rural Municipality, Deuli, Nimigaun, and Chankheli Rural Municipality in ward no. 4, 5, and 6. The company started these services in the region on Bhadra 27.
The service enables high-speed data service, HD voice through NTC VoLTE, video calling, etc. People in rural regions can connect with their family and friends and browse the internet at high speed.
As a national telecom company, NT has remained firm on expanding modern telecom services even in rural regions. It says that it will continue to give priority in extending its services in rural and remote areas of Nepal.
