Nepal’s leading ISP, Subisu, has started a free WiFi service in Nilsagar Sewa Asharam (Blue Ocean shelter). The service enables old citizens to connect to the internet and browse for free, and will help with passing the time. Blue Ocean Shelter is an aged care facility with over 250 residents, including youngsters and senior citizens.
Subisu started free WiFi in the facility as part of its 25th anniversary celebration. “Through SUBISU in Support & Care, we continue to stand with communities, support social causes, and contribute to a better, more inclusive society. Because real connection goes beyond the internet,” the company said.
Likewise, the private ISP also provided free WiFi access in a school for the hearing-impaired students in Dhading. The company said that it’s an initiative to connect education with technology, calling it not just a service but also an opportunity.
