Nepal Telecom (Ntc) has officially revised the pulse duration of international outgoing calls to 60 seconds for phone and mobile subscribers calling 58 countries. Announced on May 14, the tariff revision comes into effect from Jestha 1, 2083 (May 15, 2026). The new charge will apply to all Nepal Telecom telephone and mobile users making international call via access codes 00, 1424, 1425, and 1445.
NTC has decided to implement the new pulse rate, as per the NTA decision dated 2082/11/01 which is based on Section 42 of the Telecommunications Act 2053.
Pulse Duration is the billing interval to charge a call. The pulse duration also determines the frequency of billing in a particular call and the charge for lesser duration calls.

To place an international outgoing call, NT subscribers must dial:
