Daraz, one of the leading online shopping platform in Nepal, breaks all the records for its 11.11 campaign. After the successful completion of its 11.11 campaign, Daraz says to have got an overwhelming response and record-breaking numbers.
Daraz has launched the 11.11 campaign for only the second time here in Nepal. After the acquisition of the whole platform by Alibaba, Daraz introduced the world’s largest sale 11.11 for Nepal in 2018.
11.11 for 2019
The 11.11 campaign for 2019 outpaced that of 2018 in many ways and Daraz was known to be prepared for all those. As per the last Press meet, Daraz was prepared to offer 3.5 lakh products and hired more 400 delivery agents for the event.
Sales
The numbers and figures are out from Daraz that they had sold over 1.5 lakh products in the single-day event. Although the event was meant for a single day, they had extended some of the offers for more time, as people were found complaining to have missed the offer.
Delivery
Among those 1.5 lakhs products, Daraz says to have dispatched 40% in only less than 2 days after the event. Their preparation culminates well to get this figure.
Daraz footprint
Daraz got orders from more than 24 cities in the country where they are present. The cities with Daraz footprint ranges from Kakarbhitta in the east to Dhangadhi in the west.
Registration
Daraz saw the registration of more than 3.5 lakh users during the 11.11 campaign which is an increase of 75% compared to that of 2018.
Pageviews
Regarding the visits, Daraz had a whopping 52,33,344 pageviews during the sale day campaign. This year, Daraz hosted more than 3000 sellers with more than 50,000 customers.
Top Sellers/brands
According to Daraz, the top participating sellers/brands in the 11.11 event are Xiaomi, Samsung, LG, Adidas, Titan, TVS, Sonam Gears, J.Fisher and more. We suppose the names are for the local and international brands which brought higher sales during the event.
Record in early orders
Daraz also witnessed a record in terms of early order as they got orders within 1 second of campaign start. Similarly, they saw another record with 8000 orders in the first hour of the campaign.
Continuation
Daraz says they have continued some of the 11.11 offers till this Friday, to benefit the ones who missed the event or been too lazy or too active for checking price everywhere.
As known, people found a great deal or offers for this campaign, that’s why the response has been overwhelming and sales have been great. Although the actual amount figure for sales is not out, we can expect the sales amount to be gigantic.
