Audio Notice Board is a complimentary service by Nepal Telecom for its customers. This service allows the subscribers to record a piece of information to the notice board number. After recording, an organization can provide their notice board number to people for regular updates or even for one time to listen the messages entered.

The Notice board number is a 13-digit number that includes prefix 1618, followed by local area code and phone number. Recording the information is possible by using NTC devices such as Mobile, Landline, CDMA, and VSAT telephone. Importance

Any service providers can deliver their information through the notice board to their customers. The message delivery through notice board makes communication more efficient and fast.

Similarly, the audio notice board service is also convenient communication for visually impaired people to dial the saved number. We have found that many government entities and municipalities, schools have used this service but still, this has more potential to promote universal access for all.

So, we recommend making it mandatory for all of the service delivery offices including that of the government’s to put their updated message on the Notice board to make it accessible for all including visually challenged people.
