Huawei’s founder and CEO, Mr. Ren Zhengfei has shared that Huawei has the vision to drive global innovation. For this purpose, Huawei is open for a 5G technology transfer.
Huawei organized a media interview on February 10, 2021. It marked the opening ceremony of the Intelligent Mining Innovation Lab in Taiyuan. Similarly, reporters from various news agencies attended the media interview. They asked Mr. Ren some questions regarding the Intelligent Mining Innovation Lab and Huawei’s plans.
Open policy and 5G technology transfer
Mr. Ren expressed his inherent faith in the fact that open policies and trade cooperation induce mutual growth. According to Mr. Ren, everyone needs open trade policies. A company cannot survive alone in the globalized market. For the development of the global ICT system, both the US and China should develop their economies.
He further added that Huawei thrives on something more than providing licenses to other’s production. It is interested in transferring its 5G technologies. It would merely include source program, source, code, chip design, hardware design, and so on.
Providing platform to diverse industries
As Huawei commits to provide quality service to consumers, it has been simultaneously focusing on providing platforms for diverse industries. Huawei plans to serve as a platform for various industries like mining, ports, iron & steel, etc.
Huawei is accelerating the innovation process with over 100 research centers and joint labs around the globe. In fact, these research labs specialize in areas like physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, etc.
The main goal of Huawei is to increase the adoption of software and computing systems in various industries. By introducing Intelligent Mining Innovation Lab, Huawei aims to reduce manual work that is high in coal mining. Unmanned mining will help those people who are unwillingly living in a harsh environment.
With the use of 5G technology, resource utilization will be efficient. In fact, the whole world would benefit through fully mechanized and unmanned mining.
