Nepal Telecom (Ntc) will sponsor feed for animals at the Sadar Zoo at Jwalakhel, Kathmandu. As part of its CSR program, the telco will provide feed for animals at the Central Zoo for one year.
Ntc’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Sangita Pahadi and Rachana Shah, Director of Sadar Zoo, Jawalakhel signed the agreement papers.
The agreement was reached today on Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at a signing ceremony. At the event, National Trust for Nature Conservation’s Member Secretary Sharad Adhikari, and other members from both organizations were present.
Speaking on the agreement, Ntc CCO Pahadi said that the feed sponsorship initiation is only the beginning. She stated that the telco and the central zoo could collaborate on more projects in the future that will serve them mutual benefits.
Member Secretary Adhikari also shared his appreciation for the agreement with the telecom giant. He said the zoo attracts a huge number of spectators and the agreement will benefit both entities. He also expressed the commitment to properly utilize the funds coming from Ntc as part of its CSR program.

As per the agreement, the government-backed telco Ntc will sponsor the feed for one tiger and other animals. The list also includes birds at the zoo. Ntc will arrange for their feed for one year.
