Taking off with the design of Tecno Spark 8, it has an iconic design with a young & futuristic look. The smartphone measures 164.8 x 76.1 x 9.2 mm in dimensions and weighs only 200 grams. It also has a waterdrop notch. There is a big “Stop at Nothing” dazzling at the rear. It is available in different color options Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, and Iris Purple.
Tecno Spark 8 arrives with a large 6.6 inches HD+ IPS LCD display along with a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It also supports a 20:9 aspect ratio, 81.8% screen-to-body ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 480 nits brightness (typ), 269 PPI density, etc. For biometrics, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Performance
The smartphone rocks a MediaTek Helio G25 chipset. It is an octa-core chipset based on 12 nm processing technology that has a maximum clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz. The graphics of the phone is handled by an IMG PowerVR GE8320.
In terms of memory configuration, it is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage onboard. It also has Up to 3GB of Virtual memory. While on the software front, the smartphone runs on HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 OS.
Camera
Talking about the optical department of the Tecno Spark 8, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup at the rear. It is led by a 16 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture accompanied by an Auxiliary sensor with a Quad-LED flash.
Whereas on the front, the smartphone comes with an 8 MP f/2.0 aperture selfie camera for selfies and videos. On the videography aspect, both front and rear cameras record videos at 1080p@30fps.
