Apple unveiled the Airpods Pro 2 at its September launch event. And now, it is official in Nepal as well. Design
Designwise, Apple hasn’t brought many changes here. The new Airpods Pro 2 derives the same design language from its predecessor. So, there is an in-ear design with stem style and silicone ear tips. The previous models used to come with three ear tips while this one comes with an extra small tip.
Meanwhile, the charging case gets some minimal changes this time. It gets protection against sweat and water. One can also use a custom memoji on the case which includes a lanyard loop as well. The new Airpods Pro 2 is powered by an H2 chip that levels up the audio performance and noise cancellation. The company claims that this new chip will offer two times better ANC than the previous model. Under the Transparency mode, the H2 chip reduces loud environmental noise by activating on-device processing. Therefore, it can cut the external noise for better call quality and music experience.
The TWS is also featuring a low distortion audio driver and custom amplifier to enhance the music experience via richer bass and clearer audio output. Also, there is a Personalized Spatial Audio from which users can customize sound as per their preference. The Spatial Audio technology is a 3D surround sound with Dolby Atmos producing a theater experience via immersive audio output. It works with music, videos, and TV shows while users can create a such profile via iPhone’s TrueDepth front camera. Likewise, it also boasts dynamic head tracking across Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
Touch Controls for Volume and Music Playback Control
Well, Airpods have had touch controls but this new one is coming with something extra. Now, users can also control the volume level through the stem of the Airpods Pro 2. For volume adjustments, one can just light-swipe up or down on the stem. Similarly, there is also music playback control done through taps. One can also activate Siri by pressing the stem and saying, “Hey Siri” hands-free. Plus there is also an inbuilt skin sensor for automatic turn on/off of music playback.

Airpods Pro 2 Battery
Talking about the battery life, the company has stated up to 1.5 hours extra backup than the previous gen. While with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned on, it can cater to up to 6 hours of playback. Likewise, with the charging case, the battery life totals up to 30 hours of playback which is 6 hours more than its predecessor.
These new Airpods Pro 2 charging cases can also charge with an Apple Watch charger, Lightning cable, MagSafe charger, and Qi-certified charging mat as well.
