Starting off with the design of the device, the Huawei FreeBuds 4 arrives with an identical design to its predecessor FreeBuds 3. It has the same stem-style form factor as its predecessor. The Huawei FreeBuds 4 are ergonomically moulded to precisely fit your ear, for a shape that feels right every time. Its open-fit design allows air pressure to stay equalised, while ensuring important environmental sounds can still be heard. The earbuds weigh only 4.1 grams, and the charging case is only 38 grams. The Huawei FreeBuds 4 comes is available in various color options Silver Frost, Ceramic White, and Honey Red.
Audio
Talking about the audio, the Huawei FreeBuds 4 is equipped with a large 14.3 mm LCP dynamic driver that helps to achieve extraordinary sound quality. It boasts a frequency range of up to 40 kHz, which let you experience the soaring melodies and rich timbres of all your favourite tunes. The Huawei FreeBuds 4 also comes with a high-sensitivity microphone that can record high-fidelity sound with a sampling rate of up to 48 kHz. It uses “dual-microphone hybrid noise reduction technology” which reduces distracting noise.
The Audio Connection Center in the Huawei AI Life App enables you to manage all devices paired to HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 on a single, easy-to-use screen. So you can use the app to transfer audio between devices and coordinate your digital life on the go. The earbud features ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) but unfortunately lacks ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). Further, they offer two microphones on the stems for call clarity and stability.

Talking about the battery of the Huawei FreeBuds 4, each earbud has a 30 mAh battery capacity and the charging case offers a battery capacity of 410 mAh. It offers up to 2.5 hours of music playback with earbud when ANC is disabled & up to 4 hours of music playback with earbud when ANC is enabled. Likewise, it up offers up to 22 hours of music playback with a charging case when ANC is disabled and offers up to 22 hours of music playback with a charging case when ANC is enabled. The brand also claims that a 15 minutes quick charging offers up to 2.5 hours of music playback time. The earbuds also feature fast charging support.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 is powered by a Huawei Kirin A1 processor. Talking about the connectivity features, the Huawei FreeBuds 4 arrives with the latest Bluetooth 5.2. The buds provide simultaneous Bluetooth connection with the dual devices.
Huawei FreeBuds 4 supports dual connections with mobile phones, tablets, PCs, watches, and smart screens. You can also use your Huawei FreeBuds 4 to control how you listen to your music and take calls via simple, intuitive gesture controls that can be used on either earbud. There’s an ultra-low latency as low as 90 ms, which is more than 50% lower in comparison with the previous generation (190 ms). It also has a wear-detection sensor.
