Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI Launched in Nepal

Finally, the wait is over. One of the most awaited phones from Xiaomi is now available in Nepal for pre-order. Xiaomi Nepal has added the popular phone in the Redmi Note series for its lineup here. The Redmi Note 5 AI features a dual AI camera with a great selfie camera. Since the phone has integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its camera, the name itself derives from the technology used in it.

Redmi Note 5 AI comes with features such as a completely new Snapdragon 636 processor, the 13-megapixel front camera, and dual rear camera setup. The Redmi Note 5  is the Xiaomi’s mid-range flagship, which has been launched in Nepal as one of the most anticipated mid-range smartphones. Note 5 is set to compete against the existing popular mid-range phones like Huawei Nova 2i, Vivo V9, and Oppo F7.

The phone features a 5.99-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The display on the phone comes with various features such as Reading mode, contrast and color selection, and text size options. Redmi Note 5 AI has a display of 18:9 aspect ratio which is bigger and attractive.

With the Redmi Note 5 AI, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor debuts, making it the first smartphone in the world to be powered by Snapdragon 636. In addition, the processor has eight Kyro 260 cores which are clocked at 4×1.8GHz and 4×1.6GHz. This combination makes the phone to perform 50% more than the predecessor SD630. Note 5 Pro also comes with LPDDR4X RAM which is the fastest RAM available in the market.

  • Accelerometer, proximity, gyro, IR blaster, Fingerprint
  • Dual hybrid SIM with 4G (Supports Nepali 4G Band)
  • 4,000mAh Li-Po Non-Removable Battery
  • Prebooking Price: Rs. 28,499

Availability and Price in Nepal

Redmi Note 5 is available for pre-booking in the market. The phone is currently available through online channels and also from offline purchases in retail stores. Redmi Note 5 AI will be available to purchase from both online and offline from next week.

It can be purchased from Mi showrooms located at LABIM Mall, Pulchowk Damkal, and Pako New Road, and Mi Nepal official website. The pre-ordered phone will deliver from Monday, 28th May on-wards. The price of the phone is set at Rs. 28,499.
