Here, we take a closer look at this stylish pocketable phone from Samsung and estimate its possible price range in Nepal. Keep reading.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Overview
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 stretches as large as 166.7 x 75.2 x 6.5 mm when unfolded and stays a much compact 85.5 x 75.2 x 13.7 mm when folded. Its body weight has grown by 1 gram, reaching a super comfortable 188 grams. In terms of the materials, the unfolded front is made of plastic, while the back is composed of Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the frames are made of aluminum. The hinge has gone slimmer from the previous generation Galaxy Z Flip 6 by up to 30%. The split part that folds the handset on the rear panel continues to look as attractive as it was. There are no graphics to be seen, which makes the device sophisticated and posh. It’s got an IP48 certification for protection from water.

On the screens, the cover display is 4.1-inch with a Super AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 948 x 1048 pixel resolution. When unfolded, it stretches 6.9 inches, which is backed by a Foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2x display and 2600 nits of peak brightness. It also gets a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels, so content should be super vibrant and rich.
Performance and Memory
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 runs on Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset and not the Snapdragon 8 Elite one as in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. But it’s fairly well optimized by Samsung for a balanced performance. Unlike SD8E, it’s a deca-core chipset with the prime core clocking at 3.3 GHz. Though the clock speed of the main core is lower than the latest Snapdragon processor, you may not notice any big difference in terms of performance.

Likewise, the flip phone comes with 12 GB of RAM and options of 256 GB and 512 GB of storage. The device boots on One UI 8, which is baked on Android 16.
Camera and Photography
The Flip phones are not much for their huge camera prowess as they are for their remarkable design. Anyway, to talk about the optics, the phone comes with a 50 MP main wide camera with OIS, and a 12 MP ultrawide unit. For selfies, it has a 10 MP wide camera. From both front and back cameras, you can record 4K videos at 30/60fps.

Battery and Charging
The battery has improved from the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now, it’s 4300mAh in capacity, which means more power and durability. But Samsung has continued with similar charging specs. It’s got 25W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging capacity. The company claims that the battery can be charged up to 50% in under 30 minutes.
Connectivity and other features
Like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Flip 7 device also connects to 5G and WiFi 7. It’s got Bluetooth 5.4 and all the standard sensors and location features. It’s got a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and a host of Galaxy AI features power this device, which further enhances its usability.
