Nepal Telecom (NTC) has started 4G mobile network in various areas in Lamjung, including Sanjapu, Okhari, etc. The company upgraded the mobile network in these areas and expanded it to provide users with advanced cellular services.
Communication Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung shared on Facebook that the company upgraded mobile networks to 4G in Lamjung’s Sanjapu, Udipur Damsite, Udi, Manange Chautara, Bhirpuastung, and Okhari. The company added GSM-based 4G service in these areas. At the same time, works are ongoing to upgrade technologies in Kwholasothar, MadhyaNepal, Sundarbazar, Besisahar, Marsyangdi, Dordi, and Raina.
The 4G service brings to the locals the benefit of high-speed data, HD voice through NTC VoLTE, and other services. It enables reliable voice as well as video calling, smoother web browsing, etc. It also brings efficiency to people’s daily lives and in work related to education and health institutions, government work, etc.

According to the minister, NT is upgrading cellular services in 21 sites across all eight local levels inside Lamjung. Gurung said that the company has aimed at aggressive network improvement works despite heavy rains.
So far, Ntc has extended 4G in over 98% local levels. The plan is to expand the service to all the local levels in the coming months.
