Huawei Mate XTs feature and specifications
Huawei Mate XTs Ultimate is similar in dimensions and weight from its predecessor. It weighs 298 grams and boasts 12.8 mm of thickness when folded which is quite remarkable. The tri-fold phone is given a luxurious look and feel with its golden frames and camera bar edges adorning the body. The gadget also supports stylus which could be a deal-maker for many.

In terms of the display, the phone features a 10.2-inch main screen with LTPO OLED technology and 90Hz screen. The cover display (1/3) has a 6.4-inch inch screen with 1008 x 2232-pixel resolution. The 2/3 display stretches 7.9-inch with 2048 x 2232-pixel resolution.
This year, there is some improvements in the camera system. The main wide sensor has 50 MP sensor while a 12 MP sensor works as a periscope telephoto. Both these support OIS feature. The better aspect is that it now has a 40 MP ultrawide camera compared to 12 MP one on the predecessor. Likewise, the front has an 8 MP selfie camera.
For processor, Huawei employs Kirin 9020 chipset which is fabricated using a 7 nm process. It’s a bit undermining part when compared to flagship phones coming with Qualcomm’s latest great Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm). But it has to do with US restrictions. Anyway, the silicon comes with eight cores with the prime core clocking at 2.4GHz. The tri-fold comes with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage.

The Huawei Mate XTs shares battery aspects with its last year’s sibling. It’s got a 5600mAh battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and a 7.5W reverse wireless charging. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging. The phone supports 5G, WiFi 7, GPS, and has side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also supports BDS satellite calling and messaging but that’s exclusively available in China only.

Huawei Mate XTs serves as a next-generation of innovation in foldable phone market. It’s a tri-fold phone and expensive too. It competes in tech and innovation with Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 which is a regular foldable phone. But it’s clout can get undermined by a 7nm chipset. Anyway, it’s a smartphone into the future and shows that innovation doesn’t rest in the industry.
