Infinix has officially launched its Note 40 series of smartphones in Nepal, which includes the Note 40 and the Note 40 Pro. Both devices arrive with Helio G99 Ultimate chipset, 120Hz AMOLED panel and 108MP cameras. In this detailed overview, we’ll explore both models, the Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro, their specifications, features, official price in Nepal, and availability.

Infinix Note 40 Overview

Design and Display

The Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro bear a resemblance in terms of design. The vanilla Note 40 goes for a flatter look with a flat display while the Pro goes for a curved AMOLED screen and slightly curved back. Those wanting extra style can opt for the Pro version as it looks more premium. Talking of the screen, both are AMOLED panels: 6.78-inch with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300nits of peak brightness. And Inifinix has provided Gorilla Glass protection too.

Performance and Memory

Powering the Note 40 and Pro 4G is the same 6nm Helio G99 Ultimate processor. This 4G octa-core processor features two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz frequency. Overall, it is a midrange gaming chip so, one can expect smooth performance for multitasking and gaming. In terms of RAM, the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro 4G get 8GB and 12GB RAM respectively while the storage remains the same 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for everyday use. Booting the phones is XOS 14 built on top of Android 14, which offers a user-friendly experience for daily activities.

Camera

Both siblings feature a 108MP main camera. However, the one on the Pro version has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), so it should offer better stabilization while clicking pictures. Other than that, both phones have “2MP+2MP” cameras which are not that practically useful in daily life. For selfies, both devices equip a 32MP front camera.

Battery and Connectivity

The Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro 4G are powered by a robust 5000mAh battery. It is backed up by a 45W charger on the vanilla model while it’s a 70W fast charger on the Pro. So, either way, catering to users who need quick recharges on the go. Plus, both models also come with a 15W wireless Magcharge charger bundled with the box. Getting to the connection, both phones support 4G connectivity and include Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 5 capabilities. They also come with various sensors, including a G-sensor, E-compass, light sensor, proximity sensor, and gyroscope.
