Ncell has announced the winner of its first-ever League of Creators national talent hunt program. Aman Maharjan from Lalitpur, Kathmandu, has become the lucky winner of the popular campaign who has now won a brand deal worth Rs 1 million (Rs 10 lakh). Ncell launched the campaign with Uptrendy and due to its popularity, the telco extended the registration date till Ashar 01, 2082. Below, we have more details.
Aman Maharjan from Lalitpur has won a Ncell brand deal worth Rs. 1 million for a year by securing the first position in the ‘League of Creators’ competition organized by Ncell in collaboration with Uptrendly.
To announce the winners, Ncell had organized a special Grand Finale event in Kathmandu. The private telco launched the campaign to explore the digital talents and give them a platform to develop a career.
Ncell initially had 50 top candidates (creators) picked in its selection process. They were picked by five mentors Sanjog Koirala, Pratima Adhikari, Mr. Foodie Nepal, Parakram Rana, and Ekata Tandukar. These creators were grouped with 10 participants in each group. They received specialized training and guidance from the mentors on content planning, creative process, messaging, and strategies on their presentation.

Ncell League of Creators winners
Aman Maharjan was the winner of the campaign while Prabha Shrestha with her creator name Mademoiselle Creator, bagged second place. She earned a brand deal worth Rs 5 lakh. Manish Ruchel from Baglung, stood third and earned a brand deal worth Rs 2.50 lakh while Prashant Pandey from Bujtwal came in fourth who earned a brand deal worth Rs 1 lakh. He also won the Uptrendly Pick award.
The winner Maharjan was from Pratima Adhikari’s team, while runner-up Shrestha belonged to Sanjog Koirala’s team. Likewise, third and fourth place winners Ruchel and Pandey were from Mr. Foodie Nepal’s team.
The top four winners were selected buy a panel of jury. The judging panel consisted of Mike Harker, Head of Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Nepal; Film Director Simosh Sunuwar; Punam Singh, Director of Marketing, Communications, and Sustainability at Ncell; and Monayac Karki, CEO of Uptrendly.
“This competition was successfully organised with the objective of identifying and empowering emerging digital content creators from various parts of the country. I am confident that the brand deal with Ncell will inspire the winners to further hone their content creation journey.” said Umair Mohsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell. “Also, we are truly grateful to all the mentors for their valuable contributions in making this event meaningful and impactful.”
