Nepal’s leading mobile service provider company Ncell has partnered with Rakuten Viber to provide exclusive data packages and free stickers to its customers. On 7th December, Ncell Axiata Limited and Rakuten Viber reached an agreement to offer a data Pack that grants special Viber Messaging as an add-on to the Ncell customers.
Agreement between Ncell and Viber
According to the agreement, Ncell customers will be able to acquire data volume to run Viber for free. For that, you will have to purchase one of the four popular packs:
Since most of the customers already have a pre-existing prepaid and post-paid data package, these new packages are totally optional. It acts as an optional add-on package and there are no additional charges.
What’s in the Ncell Viber data package?
The interested customers who purchase this new Viber package will be able to access an additional volume of data on Viber. With the help of this, you can enjoy Viber features such as Viber messaging, fun stickers, along with the new augmented reality (AR) lenses. All of these features ensure enhanced security which preserves the customer’s data privacy.
The most fun part of this new package is that not only will you receive free stickers pack but also you can use the paid stickers exclusively. The stickers which normally require payment will be absolutely free to download for Ncell’s data pack subscribers. It will help you make the most out of this opportunity.
You get an extra 500 MB of Viber data with 7 days Triple Majja pack and 7 days Nonstop Youtube pack. Whereas for other packs, the Viber data volume ranges from 150 MB for 7 days to 2GB for 30 days. And in the SMS pack, you get 250MB data volume for Viber. Remember, you can only use Viber data volume for messaging and sending stickers. So, making a call and video call is not allowed with the Viber rich messaging pack.

Now, this partnership has strengthened their bonds and they also expect to launch a localized Viber lens based on augmented reality (AR) in the near future.
