Ncell Axiata has launched a new WiFi solution called Ultra Wi-Fi SIM plus. In a bid to attract customers who are need of WiFi internet for their home or small office, Ncell brings Ultra WiFi SIM; an affordable and trouble-free internet option. As the WiFi service is based on 4G LTE service, it is available across all the areas where 4G is available.
Ultra Wi-Fi SIM provides a bundled data package in a special SIM offer. Additionally, you can get two 4G SIM cars with more bundle data, talk time (on-net) with both SIMs, every month. Similarly, you will get free digital services with the SIM card.
This special SIM offer also comes under the “Plus” Campaign. The company wants to make use of the already available 4G network for the wireless internet connection to people. As the demand for the internet has increased lately, this solution is beneficial for areas where Fiber or other internet is not feasible.

After purchasing this special SIM, you need to insert the ultra wifi SIM in your handset or WiFi device or MiFi device or others. The WiFi or MiFi device can take in the 4G connectivity from SIM card and provide hotspot internet to several other devices.
As the WiFi service is meant for a fixed location, the SIM card will lock into the nearest 4G tower. With the locked in, you can only use the WiFi service within the coverage of that tower. That means you cannot use the service when you are out of that fixed location.
Pradeep Shrivastava, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell Axiata expresses, “We are delighted to bring ‘Ultra Wi-Fi SIM+’, a hassle-free and affordable Wi-Fi solution with bundled service to our customers in all 4G coverage areas,”. He further adds “We believe that access to service targeted for home and small businesses will further facilitate customers with opportunities of being connected and going online.”

The Ultra WiFi SIM is a smaller package of the Wirefree plus Wifi Internet solution. It differs from the Wirefree plus internet in terms of mobility, and router. The Ultra Wifi SIM is only for fixed locations and includes 40GB of data. Whereas there are three packages (60GB, 80GB, and 100 GB) with mobility in Wirefree plus internet and you require to buy a router from Ncell. But 24X7 customer care support is available for both of them.

Recently, several players like Prabhu, Dish Home have joined the race to provide affordable internet solution, which is now solely based on Fiber. Considering the remoteness and the easy access, Wireless broadband seems to be the next big thing here in Nepal.
