Oppo backed brand Realme is one of the fastest-growing brands in the world. It has been providing the best of the products at the most affordable prices. It seems to strengthen its hold in the Nepalese tech market as well. Realme has launched the Realme Buds Air and Realme Buds Air Neo along with other AIoT products like Realme Watch and Realme Band. The brand also recently launched smartphones like Realme 6 Pro, Realme 6, and Realme 6i. Realme Buds Air and Realme Buds Air Neo are launched at the price of Rs. 6,999, and Rs. 5,599, respectively in Nepal.

Realme Buds Air is the first TWS buds from the brand that was launched back in 2019. Now, let us know more specs and features of the earbuds.
Looking at the designing of the Realme Buds Air, it is pretty much identical to the Apple Airpods. You might not be able to differentiate between the two as even the charging case is similar. But Realme Buds Air does come with all the essential features and at affordable pricing. The earbuds only weigh 4.2 grams, so they are very light, and they come with the plastic build which might be inconvenient for some people.
Realme Buds Air comes powered by the high-performance custom R1 chip along with the Bluetooth 5.0 support that provides the super low latency and ensures seamless connection. Realme Buds Air also packs a gaming mode to reduce audio latency, and in the gaming mode, it has a delay of 119.3ms compared to 243.8ms delay in the normal mode.
It also comes with the Google Fast Pair feature. It means that you will be able to instantly connect to your smartphone once paired whenever you open the case over.
Realme Buds Air comes equipped with the 12mm LCP advanced multi-layer composite diaphragm sound unit. It also features a Dynamic Bass Boost solution that further enhances bass and provides immersive music-listening and movie-watching experience. They come with the built-in dual microphones for ENC (Environment Noise Cancellation) technology that identifies every word intelligently and filter outs the background noise providing a clear audio response.
It also comes with some other attractive features. They have smart wear detection, meaning that the buds will automatically turn into when you put it in your ear and pause when you remove it. Realme Buds Air arrives with smart touch controls such as double-tap to play/pause, triple tap to skip track, a long press to access Google Assistant, etc. Now, these are an exciting feature, aren’t they?

It is the toned-down version of the Realme Buds Air. So, it lacks some premium features like wear detection and wireless charging.
Realme Buds Air Neo is very much similar to that of its predecessor in terms of designing. There is no change in the design of the earbuds. They are very lightweight weighing only 4.1 grams, and the charging case weighs 30.5 grams. They also have the IPX4 Dust and Water-resistance the same as that of the Realme Buds Air.
Realme Buds Air Neo comes powered by the custom R1 chip that ensures you an outstanding true wireless experience. It has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity support and also comes with Google Fast Pair that helps in the quick and seamless pairing process to the phone.
Talking about the audio of the earbuds, it boasts a large 13mm Bass Boost Driver that uses high-quality polyurethane and titanium for an incredible sound experience. It also has a Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) solution that further unlocks the bass potential.
Realme Buds Air Neo also arrives with smart touch control features similar to its predecessor. The control features that you get at your fingertips are double-tap to answer calls/play and pause music, triple tap to go to next song, press and hold one side to end calls or use voice assistant, and press and hold on both sides to enter/exit super low-latency (119.2ms) gaming mode. They also have the Realme link app that lets you customize all the controls.
The battery of the earbud has a total 17 hours of playback with charging case, 3 hours playback in single charging, and 1.5 hours single calling time. The brand has swapped the USB type-c port with the micro-USB port to make it affordable. It also lacks wireless charging support.
