The Nothing Phone 1 has received the first price drop in Nepal. It arrives with SD 778G+ 5G SoC, transparent back with LED strips, dual 50 MP rear cameras, 120 Hz AMOLED, and a 4500mAH battery. So, let’s know more in detail about the specs, availability, and Nothing Phone (1) price in Nepal below.

Nothing Phone (1) Overview

Design and Display 

As for the design, the smartphone comes with a transparent rear panel, several color tones, and LED strips on the back. The LED strips can be customized for some contacts or notifications. Nothing Phone 1 features a pill-shaped camera hump in the top left corner similar to the iPhone X’s camera setup. 

Nothing Phone (1) has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display panel along with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9, 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution, and more. For biometrics, the phone has an Optical under-display fingerprint sensor as well. Likewise, there is also a Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Cameras

As for the optical department of the smartphone, the Nothing Phone 1 sports a double camera setup at the rear. The 50 MP primary camera (f/1.88 aperture) is accompanied by another 50 MP ultra-wide-angle (114-degree FoV) sensor with an f/2.22 aperture. The phone supports OIS in the main camera, EIS, and several other camera modes like Portrait, scene detection, Panorama, Night, Expert, etc.

While on the front, the smartphone houses a 16 MP Selfie camera. Now moving on to the videography aspect of the smartphone, the rear camera is able to shoot up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps and the front camera will record videos up to 1080p@30fps.

Performance

Under the hood, Nothing Phone (1) is powered by the Snapdragon 778G plus SoC. As for the graphics of the gadget, it has Adreno 642L GPU.

In terms of memory configuration, it comes starting off with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage to 12GB RAM/256GB storage. Whereas on the software front, the Nothing Phone (1) runs on Android 12 OS-based Nothing OS.

Battery and Connectivity 

Nothing Phone (1) is fueled by a 4,500mAh non-removable battery along with support for 33W wired fast charging technology and 15W Qi wireless charging support. Similarly, the phone embodies reverse wireless charging of 5W.

Coming to the connectivity options of the phone, Nothing Phone (1) features a 5G network, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM, a USB Type-C port, etc. 

The phone features unique personalization of the lighting of the LED strips using the Glyph interface. Similarly, the phone includes several other features like face recognition even with masks or other coverings, IP53 dust/water resistance, etc.

Nothing brand promises to provide 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates (every 2 months). This should be wonderful as you will be getting Android 15 on this very phone.

Initially, there were high hopes that this smartphone would shake up the smartphone industry, but it did not deliver the expected impact. Nevertheless, the transparent back LED feature of the phone was undeniably revolutionary.
