Summary✨
  • OnePlus 15 has been launched in China..
  • The major flagship, unveiled alongside Acer 6, will be one of the best phones to buy in 2025 and beyond due to.
  • To specify, it rocks a 7300mAh battery, the industry’s first-ever 165Hz display, and the premium chipset Snapdragon 8 Elite 5, among other.

OnePlus 15 is available in Nepal as the latest premium phone from the brand. The flagship phone, unveiled alongside Ace 6, is one of the best phones to buy in 2026 due to its overall specifications. To specify, it rocks a 7300mAh battery, the industry’s first-ever 165Hz display, and the premium chipset Snapdragon 8 Elite 5, among other bells and whistles. Let’s learn more about this premium phone.

OnePlus 15 Specifications and Features

OnePlus 15 features a rather simple but high-end design. What’s immediately noticeable is its rounded sort of camera module instead of the island on its predecessor, the OnePlus 13. IT features a multi-function button that lets you access screenshot, sound/vibration, etc. It’s up to 215 grams in weight, which makes it only slightly weightier than its sibling from 2024.

The screen size has come down a bit, making it more compact, which is kind of a different route but admirable. Now, the display stretches 6.78 inches. We are looking at an LTPO AMOLED display with up to 1800 nits of brightness. The biggest deal here? It’s the industry’s first-ever 165Hz refresh rate, which shall make screen scrolling ultra smooth.

Camera, Processor, Memory

OnePlus 15 comes with an improved periscope telephoto camera in a tri-camera setup. Though 50 MP, just as the OnePlus 13, it now features a 3.5x optical zoom with OIS. The main camera is also a 50MP sensor, and there is a 50MP ultrawide camera as well. The frontal side gets a 32 MP selfie camera. It’s the same specced camera from last year’s subordinate.

The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is the fastest out there on Android. It consists of 4+4 cores with the prime core clocking to 4.6 GHz. So far, it’s a Chinese version phone, so there could be some tweaks for the international variant. It boots on ColorOS 16, which is a custom OS based on Android 16.

In terms of memory, the OnePlus 15 features 12/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB and 1 TB of RAM. I personally think that the 256 GB storage is getting short on meeting needs these days due to large-sized photos and videos. This flagship phone lets you record videos at up to 8K resolution.

Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features

Another major selling point of the phone is its massive 7,300mAh battery. Though it’s slowly becoming a trend to have a 7,000mAh battery on a smartphone, it seems just gigantic. It supports 120W wired, 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless, 5W reverse wired, and bypass charging. OnePlus claims that the large battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in just 40 minutes. But you will have to buy the charger separately.

For connectivity, the phone supports 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, infrared port, etc. It’s also got an under-display fingerprint sensor, GPS, and other standard Android sensors. The handset is IP68/69 certified for protection against dust and water.
