Oppo Reno 13 has been officially announced in China. The phone is part of the new series which also consists of the Reno 13 Pro. The vanilla model brings noticeable improvements over its predecessor Reno 12 especially in its display size chipset, and battery. Here, we take a closer look at the phone’s specifications, features, and its expected price in Nepal.
Oppo Reno 13 Specifications
Design and Display
The Oppo Reno 13 flaunts glass back and aluminum frames giving it a premium look and finish. In terms of the size, it measures 157.90 x 74.73 x 7.4 mm and weighs 181 grams. The phone is sleek and posh and a squircle camera module on the back steals a show. The phone comes with IP69 certification for dust and water protection. Its color options consist of Midnight Black, Galaxy Blue, and Butterfly Purple.
Dispy is where the phone becomes the most noticeable. The phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels,120Hz refresh rate and has 1200 nits of brightness. Oppo Reno 12 came with a 6.7-inch display so, here it’s a highly compact display size and is ideal for people who prefer small screen size.
Performance
Oppo Reno 13 is powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. It’s a 4nm fabricated silicon with the highest clock speed of 3.35 GHz. Oppo has launched this phone with 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage. The phone originally ships with ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15.
Camera
The phone comes with a dual camera setup on the back. It consists of a 50 MP primary wide camera with OIS support and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. Sadly, there’s no telephoto lens that contributes to keeping its price similar to the previous model. On the other hand, it boasts a 50 MP selfie camera on the front.
Battery and Connectivity
The phone comes with a 5600mAh battery cell and an 80W wired fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the phone allows WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C 2.0, etc. It’s a 5G phone so, you get ultra-high speed data rate too.

Oppo Reno 13 price in Nepal and availability
In Nepal, Oppo Reno 13 price could start at Rs 67,999 for the 12/512 GB variant. The phone starts in China at CNY 2,699 for the 12/256 GB variant which might come at around 52,999 including “margin”. But Oppo is not likely to launch any other trim besides the one with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB ROM. Anyway, we will continue to follow latest updates on this premium phone. The phone could launch in Nepal in early 2025.

Our Initial Verdict
Oppo Reno 13 comes with a new and powerful processor, sharp display and larger battery over its predecessor Reno 12. However, it’s selling point is also its small form factor. If you are into small phones with good performance assurance, it’s a good choice. But at the possible price of over Rs 60000, you may wish that the cameras might have been slightly better even though a 50 MP selfie camera does compensate well.
