Nepal’s leading telecom company, Ncell Axiata Limited, has gifted a bonus balance of Rs 100 to over 3,500 of its customers. The private operator provided the bonus balance as part of its weekly “Harek din Surprise Sabailai Sure-Prize” campaign which recipients can use as regular balance for services.

The company launched the “Harek din Surprise Sabailai Sure-Prize” campaign beginning on September 17 as part of its 18th-anniversary celebration.

The Sure-Prize campaign ensures a prize for every Ncell customer. Under this scheme, the customers have been getting digital service, balance, data, talk time, and SMS services in Daily prizes. Likewise, under the Weekly prizes, Ncell selected the winners by evaluating the best slogans participants had submitted online. The telco rewarded the winners a hefty bonus balance of Rs 100 for over 3,500 customers.

Being a technophile, I am particularly fascinated by the evolution of mobile networks in Nepal from legacy networks (2G, 3G) to 4G (with VoLTE, VoWiFi, eSIM) and the prospects of the upcoming 5G, and equally enthralled by the development of internet from the dial-up connection to the 2 Gbps XGS-PON fiber broadband technology and their transformative impact in the country.
