Design And Display
Realme has followed the trendy patterns of midrange phones on C11 2021. Its display features a waterdrop notch display. On the rear, it offers a square bump on the top left corner for cameras.
The display comes with a large 6.5 HD+ panel with over 400nits of brightness and an impressive 89.5% screen to body ratio. for protection, Realme has added a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 to save it for minor scratches. The large display is perfect for watching videos and browsing the web.
However, While Realme woos with a large display, it disappoints with safety characteristics. The C11 buyers will have to be content with just a face unlock feature as it does not include fingerprint options. Face unlock is a bit faster than biometric but it is less secure. Realme snubbed the biometric authentication for a price-cutting measure and we can understand that.
Additionally, there won’t be the common USB Type-C on this phone. You get get a micro-USB port for connecting the charger and file transfers. There are two slots for nano SIMs and one for a MicroSD card.
Realme is not taking any chance with C11’s performance to supplement its larger display and its battery life. Under the hood, it houses an octa-core processor Unisoc SC9863 SoC paired with a 2GB LPDDR4x RAM.
This device is not made for high-end games such as PUBG, Free Fire, and Call of Duty but users can certainly play casual less demanding games like Subway Surfers or some puzzle games without lags.
Realme offers a default 32GB for internal storage and there is also a dedication memory slot that lets you expand its storage capacity up to 256GB with a microSD card.
The inclusion of advanced LPDDR4x RAM will result in better device optimization. The power consumption decreases by 17% while its performance has gone up by 15%.
Realme C11 2021 runs on Android 11 Go-based Realme UI on top. Realme’s custom skin offers a smoother lag-free user experience.
In the optics, Realme C11 2021 gets an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front for your selfie needs.
While the camera setup is not elite for photogenic on the go. You can not expect a lower-end phone’s camera to perform excellently in low light conditions with details. However, considering its budget-friendly nature, it does the basic snaps.
Battery capacity is the best asset of C11 2021. Realme has packed a massively satisfying 5000mAh capacity battery which it claims will last at least a day even for the heaviest of users.
As per the data from Realme’s labs, the 5000mAh battery survives up to 17 hours of continuous YouTube streaming, 37 hours of calling, 108 hours of continuous music, and a stand-by time of 43 days.
To further its battery advantage, the phone also comes with Super Power Saving Mode. If you toggle this mode on, you will be able to run basic functions such as calls, SMS, and calculator, etc. without draining the juice.
In addition, there is a battery optimizing app APP Quick Freeze which restricts activities of apps running in the background. While it does not limit major Android system’s functions, it will stop utility apps’ active run which ultimately saves battery consumption. Apart from this, there are other features like Screen Battery Optimization, Sleep Standby Optimization and etc which all expand C11’s battery performance.
