Design & Display
Redmi Watch 2 features a 1.6″ screen up from 1.4″ of the Redmi Watch. Also, now the display type is AMOLED with a resolution of 320×360 with 301 PPI. It is a favorable upgrade from the IPS LCD panel of the predecessor. Now, the sunlight readability will be much better on this new smartwatch. For the design, it still packs the square shape as the Redmi Watch. While the screen is taller.
The dimension of the watch body is 39.1 x 34.4 x 10mm (1.54 x 1.35 x 0.39 in) for this smartwatch. It weighs 39 grams only. It comes in three colors; Black, Blue & Ivory. More than 100 watch faces are supported for customizations.
Monitoring Sensors, Tracking & Fitness
This wearable comes with the Apollo 3.5 chipset & PPG sensor. It features a total of 117 sports modes including swim tracking as well. Also, it supports sleep tracking, and heart rate monitoring. A blood oxygen sensor (SpO2) is also here for tracking oxygen levels in the body. Other tracking activities include breathing exercises, stress monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, etc.
Four GPS systems are available for outdoor activities; GLONASS, GPS, Galileo & BeiDou in this smartwatch. Also, there is NFC on this wearable for access control & travel passes. The device runs on customized Real-Time OS as a usual smartwatch. It is compatible to pair with both iOS & Android devices using Xiaomi Wear Lite App & Xiaomi Wear App respectively.

This wearable sports a 230mAh Li-ion battery that can last for 12 hours on a single charge. While the standby time with normal usage is 12 days. It is also 5ATM water-resistant.
