The Samsung Exynos 1380 supports FHD+ displays with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, making it suitable for gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks. It also supports LPDDR4x/5 memory and UFS v3.1 storage, offering faster data transfer rates and better power efficiency.
The Samsung Exynos 1380 is built on the 5 nm EUV process technology, which offers improved performance and power efficiency compared to its predecessor. This advanced process technology allows for more transistors to be packed into a smaller space, resulting in better performance and energy efficiency.
It is equipped with a 5G modem that supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave frequencies. The modem can achieve download speeds of up to 3.79 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.28 Gbps on sub-6GHz frequencies. On mmWave frequencies, the modem can achieve download speeds of up to 3.67 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 0.92 Gbps. The modem also supports global 5G multi-SIM, allowing users to use multiple SIM cards on different networks.

It features an octa-core CPU. The chipset comprises four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The Cortex-A78 cores are designed for high-performance computing, while the Cortex-A55 cores are optimized for power efficiency. The processor also comes with an Arm Mali-G68 MP5 GPU that offers improved graphics performance compared to its predecessor.
The Exynos 1380 comes with an AI Engine that features a 4.9 TOPS NPU. This AI Engine allows the processor to perform complex AI-related tasks, such as natural language processing and object recognition. The NPU also helps to offload AI-related tasks from the CPU and GPU, resulting in better overall efficiency.
It supports single cameras up to 200 MP or triple cameras up to 16 MP each and can record and playback 4K videos at 30fps. The Exynos 1380 comes with a range of video codecs for decoding and encoding, including HEVC 10bit, H.264 10bit, and VP9 for decoding, and HEVC, H.264, and VP8 for encoding. Talking about to photography, the Exynos 1380 can shoot photos in single-camera mode at 200 MP, or at 64 MP with zero shutter lag. Additionally, it can take photos from three 16 MP sensors at once. The chipset also supports 10-bit HEVC (H.265) and AVC (H.264) video encoding and decoding.
