Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition in Nepal. The Samsung Galaxy A12 was quite a success in Nepal. The brand had also launched Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite recently In Nepal. It is the Exynos edition of the Samsung Galaxy A12 that was launched a few months back in Nepal. The specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition are almost the same as the standard Galaxy A12.
Starting off with the design of the phone, it is the same as that of the standard Galaxy A12. The device features an Infinity-V notch display. It has a glass front with a plastic frame and a plastic rear. It also houses a square module rear camera and has Samsung branding at the mid-bottom of the back.
Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition sports a 6.5-inch PLS IPS TFT HD+ Infinity-V display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, 82.1% screen-to-body ratio, and 270 PPI density. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Moving on to the optical department of the device, Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear. It consists of a 48 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, the device houses an 8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Both the rear and front cameras are capable of supporting video recording up to [email protected].
It is the aspect where it differs from the standard Galaxy A12. Under the hood, the smartphone comes equipped with an Exynos 850 Chipset. It is an in-built Samsung chipset based on an 8 nm processor that clocks up to 2GHz of speed. The chipset is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You also get a storage expansion of up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition Runs on the latest Android 11 with One UI (Core) on top.
As for endurance, the smartphone is backed up by a massive non-removable 5,000mAh battery. It also has support for 15 W fast charging. The brand claims that the phone lasts up to 20 hours of internet usage time, 19 hours of video playback time, 104 hours of audio playback time, and 57 hours of talk time.
Talking about the connectivity of the device, Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition Features 4G LTE, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos Edition is launched at the price of Rs. 19,999 for 4GB/128GB variant in Nepal. It is available for purchase via authorized Samsung stores and retail shops in Nepal. The phone is available in three different color variants like Black, Red, and Blue. The phone will compete with the likes of Redmi 9 Power, Poco M2, Motorola Moto G9 Play, etc.
