Xiaomi Mi Band 7 comes as the successor to the Mi Band 6 which was launched the last year in Nepal. It was launched alongside the new Redmi Note 11T Pro series smartphones in China.

Design & Display

Starting off with the design of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7, it is very identical to the last year’s Mi Band 6. The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is made of polycarbonate material, and the anti-bacterial wrist bands use TPUt. It is very lightweight and weighs only just 13.5 grams. The band also supports 5ATM water resistance. 

Mi Band 7 flaunts a bigger and eye-catching screen. It features a 1.62 inches AMOLED display along with a 192 x 490 pixels screen resolution. This is a 0.06-inch increase from last year and the new screen has a 25 % more viewable area. The band also comes with a 326 PPI pixel density, and 500nits of peak brightness. The device has an Always-On display feature and also has dynamic Mars wallpaper same as on MIUI 13. Mi Band 7 arrives with 100+ new watch face designs to select from.

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Health & Fitness Features 

In terms of health features, the smart band features All-day blood oxygen saturation monitoring, an optical heart rate sensor, a six-axis motion sensor, and 24/7 sleep monitoring with the help of the new Mi Band. Now If the blood oxygen level goes below 90%, then it alerts the wearer. 

Furthermore, the device also arrives with a heart rate tracker, and sleep tracker capable of providing data like sleep breathing quality, REM, and nap time quality. The band is also capable of Female health tracking, stress monitoring, PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence), and more.

Workout Modes

There is a huge upgrade in the sports modes. Xiaomi Mi Band 7 boasts 120 different workout modes on it. The band also introduces four professional sports modes that include data analysis, activity tracking, and other features. It helps users to take actionable steps to improve their fitness. The band also has an automatic workout detection feature and an option for competitions with friends.  

Battery Life and Connectivity

Let’s talk about the battery prowess of the band, it comes backed by an improved 180 mAh battery. As far as endurance is concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 offers up to 15 days of battery usage on a single charge and lasts up to 9 days in case of heavy usage. The band takes only 2 hours to fully charge. It also supports the same magnetic charging mechanism as its predecessors.

Talking about the connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth 5.2 LE. The fitness tracker is compatible with phones that run on Android 6 and later or iOS 10.0 and later.
