Xiaomi has launched its Mi Smart Band 6 globally alongside Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro. The popular fitness tracker’s latest iteration arrives with upgrades in its display, sensor, and battery backup. Read below to find about its specs, features, and expected price in Nepal.

The MI Smart Band 6 is the successor to last year’s Mi Band 5 and Xiaomi has brought some minor to major improvements. Such as in the case of the chip and the battery. Let’s further break down the overview and learn in detail.
One major upgrade Xiaomi has brought is in its display. The Mi Band 6 features a 152 x 486 pixels AMOLED touchscreen display. Meanwhile, its screen stretches further to 1.56 inches compared to MI Band 5’s 11 inches. In terms of the display panel, it continues the same AMOLED which provides vibrant and lively colors. The band also lets you choose from 60 different band displays to personalize the screen as per your liking.
Furthermore, The device comes with a layer of protection in the form of tempered glass and anti-fingerprint coating to keep the display neat and clean.

In terms of tracking, Xiaomi is going far ahead of its predecessor. The MI Band 6 offers 30 different activity tracking modes which is a massive increase from Band 5’s 11. It also features indoor training modes like stretching, dancing, stretching, and others.
MI Band 6 also comes loaded with auto-detection mode which will track six activities: running, walking, treadmill, cycling, rowing machine, and elliptical.
With this feature, the tracker will itself determine your activity and start monitoring you even without your knowledge.

The Band 6 comes with a SpO2 sensor. It allows monitoring the pattern of your sleep breathing quality as the sensor keeps tracks of oxygen and blood as you sleep. The feature lets you figure out your sleeping patterns, quality, and duration. Thus helping you to improve if necessary.
On the other hand, Band 6 carries a PPG sensor, a standard used in various wearables. It monitors your heart rate 24/7. Of course, you get 24/7 heart rate monitoring with the Mi Band 6’s PPG sensor. The device can detect your heart stress levels during your active day’s movement.

Another crucial aspect of Mi Band 6 is that it packs a 125mAh battery that charges using a magnetic charger. Xiaomi has made the claim that the tracker can live for 14 days on a single charge.
The Mi Band 6 is also 5ATM certified. It can withstand up to 50 meters in depth for 10 minutes.
Mi Smart Band 6 was launched on March 29 event and it will be available in two variants: NFC and Non-NFC with 8 color options: white, brown, black, blue, orange, yellow, green, and silver. Mi Band 6 will go on sale from April 2 onwards. It will take some time to hit the Nepali market though. For now, we have the expected price in Nepal only.
