As the festival season is starting soon with the Ghatasthapana nearing, telecom operators have geared up to launch the festival offer. After the biggest festival Dashain, more festivals like Tihar, Nepal Sambhat, Chhath will come. It has been a trend to give heavy offer and discount for their services during the Dashain, Tihar, Chath and Nepal Sambhat period. We can expect great offers for this festival season. Telecom operators will be providing such Dashain Tihar offer to the customers to make them feel happy during the festival period. As per the previous years trend, we can expect the following offers for the telecom services.

Call discount

The operators will provide some discount like 10 percent to the calls made in the specific period of the festival. They may provide the discount from Dashain till Chath or only during the festival period. Ntc did the same thing last year but we can expect more for this year.

SMS discount.

As per the old trend, we can say there will be 50 percent discount in the SMS. In all of the telecom operators, they may provide the SMS discount or cheap SMS package for the festival period.

Cheap data package.

The operators may also bring some cheap data packages to the customers for the festival period. The data package will cost the cheapest data tariff. They may even bring some medium data packs for a small period like 100 MB for two days at affordable rates. This may be useful for people as their usage rate increases in festival period.

Combo packages.

There can be some affordable combo packages as per the demand of customers. The combo packs may include some voice calls minutes, data packages and also free music streaming with their app.

New service launch

The operators may also launch new services for their customers during this festival. For Ntc and Ncell, it could be new service like video streaming, as they have already stated about it. Ncell may even add more cities to launch 4G. For Smart Telecom, it could be the 4G launch in Kathmandu and Pokhara as we have already found them testing Smart 4G in Kathmandu.

Above offers are mainly for mobile customers. Ntc may add up more offer in other services like ADSL, landline calls.
