Ncell, the private telecom operator of Nepal has extended its 4G LTE coverage to two more cities, making the widest coverage in 21 cities. The two cities are Lahan of Siraha district and Dhangadi of Kailali District. Ncell 4G coverage reaches these cities from Poush 23 (Sunday). To use the Ncell 4G service, you need to have a 4G compatible Ncell SIM (USIM) and 4G compatible handset. If you have both, then you can access to high-speed mobile broadband service from Ncell. With this launch, Ncell 4G coverage reaches 21 cities. Ncell says their 4G covers more than 15 percent population of the country.
Ncell also mentions that this expansion will help the country to meet its national broadband target and help realize the “Digital Nepal” dream.

Following is the list of 21 cities where Ncell 4G is available now.
With this launch, Ncell 4G reaches the Far western region, where people complain of getting new technology in the last place. Most of the major first-tier cities are covered with this, apart from Mahendranagar, Itahari, Janakpur. People have been querying us about the information when it would come to them. Now it seems the next stop for Ncell 4G is those cities.

Ncell customers can change their SIM card to USIM (4G compatible) with Rs 1 at the Ncell center. You need to present some identification. Your number will remain the same as the change in the SIM card. They are also providing some offers for the 4G launch in those two cities. The customer will get 1 GB of free data that is valid for 3 days.
Ncell is also testing 4G in more cities. They may launch in the remaining first-tier cities and also in second-tier (second level) cities. If you happen to live in those cities, you may get a Ncell 4G signal that you can actually use it before the launch.
