Huawei launched two phones at once in Nepali market. Huawei Y9 along with Y7 Pro was launched on April 8, 2018 at an event in Nepal. Y9 is a mid-range smartphone which is priced at Rs. 25,900. Y7Pro is a comparatively low budget phone which has been set a price of Rs. 20,900.
“After the success of Nova 2i, we have introduced Y series smartphones in Nepali market,” said Huawei’s country manager,” Joyas Jhuka.
The four camera setup Y9 comes with a 5.93 inch Full HD display of 2160×1080. There are two cameras on the back and two on the front. The back camera has a f/2.0 aperture and the combination of 13MP + 2MP setup. The front has a setup of 16MP + 2MP with the aperture of f/2.2. It has a big battery and good internal specifications. Moreover, the phone comes with full view 18:9 display.
Y7 Pro features a huge 5.99 inches HD full view display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 430 Octa Core processor. On top of it, there is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage is included on the phone with the expandable storage option with an external SD card. Y7 Pro runs on the Google’s Android 8.0 Oreo along with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 Skin.
Huawei Y9 is available in Black, Gold, and Blue color options. The price of the phone is set at Rs. 25,900. Similarly, Y7 Pro is priced at Rs. 20,900.
Both the phones are available throughout the country from April 8, 2018.
