Ntc MD Kamini Rajbhandari has been asked to clarify again. This is the second time, she got a letter for clarification from the higher level for her work performance. Earlier Cabinet sought clarifications from her, for allegedly failing to uplift NTC revenue and quality.
Last time, based on her clarification letter and some hidden lobbying, She managed to avoid a possible catastrophe. Some of the online portals went further at that time that the decision had already been taken, which was a complete hoax. As per sources, she was given 2 months time to show her managerial works in the company.

Apart from the ineffectiveness in managing the company, now she has been accused of the indecision in the company for various projects including the long-awaited 4G network project in the country. There is also a serious blame for not being able to increase the competitiveness of the company.
Sources claim it to be 24 hours whereas some say it is a 72 hours clarification seek. But it is not known whether the Ministry (MOIC) or board of directors or the cabinet itself send a letter.
The government appointed Mrs. Kamini Rajbhandari as NTC MD on Sept 22, 2016, for three years. Before that, she was working in the government-owned Telco as a chief technical officer (CTO). She joined Nepal Telecom as an Engineer in the year B.S. 2042 and worked in several departments. She is not only the first female MD but also the first one who comes from open competition.
