Ncell brings “Travellers SIM” for tourists

Ncell has brought Travellers SIM, a special SIM dedicated to Foreigners visiting Nepal from different parts of the world. As these foreigners come to Nepal for vacation or business trips, they can now enjoy exclusive telecommunications service through Ncell’s ‘Travellers’ SIM’. The special SIM comes bundled with voice and data packs.

Ncell’s ‘Travellers’ SIM’ campaign comes into effect from Tuesday (May 14, 2019) Baishak 31, 2076. The cost of the Travellers SIM starter pack for Foreign nationals who visit Nepal is Rs 110 (inclusive of taxes). With the travelers SIM, they can also enjoy various combo packs of voice and data service as per their duration of stay in Nepal and service requirement.

What’s in Ncell Travellers SIM?

The Starter pack provides the main balance of Rs 30 and 300 MB data valid for 3 days, along with the SIM card. The main balance can be used to make calls within the Ncell network.

  • To get the Ncell travellers SIM, Foreigners need to submit their recent passport size photo and a copy of their passport.
  • Available now in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu

Special combo packs

After activation of the starter pack, foreigners can buy Combo Packs especially designed for them at price ranging from Rs. 490 to Rs. 1,960 as per their communication need.

In Combo Pack, there are four different options which tourists can buy as per their need and time of stay in Nepal.

  • Light pack: Cost Rs 490: 7 GB data and 20 minutes talk time, valid for 7 days
  • Medium pack: Cost Rs 980: 14 GB data and 30 minutes talk time, valid for 14 days
  • Heavy pack: Cost Rs 1470: 21 GB data and 40 minutes talk time, valid for 21 days
  • Super pack: Cost Rs 1960: 28 GB data and 50 minutes talk time, valid for 28 days

Tourist can select more volume, talk time packs that are also valid for more days if you are staying in Nepal for a longer duration.

How to activate Combo packs in travelers SIM?

For the activation of above mentioned Combo Packs in Ncell, customers need

  • to dial *17105# and follow the instructions accordingly.

Ncell expresses their delight to introduce ‘Travellers’ SIM’ bundled with its voice and data services. Which will suit the requirement of tourists visiting Nepal from different corners of the world. Ncell believes that this campaign will help address communications need of foreigners visiting Nepal at an affordable and in a convenient way.

Where to get Ncell Travellers SIM?

At first phase, Ncell makes the ‘Travellers’ SIM’ available from their counter in the Tribhuvan International Airport and Ncell Centres. Gradually, they will make the SIM card available from all Point of sales (POS).
