Ncell Axiata Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director Jabbor Kayumov recently gave a resounding speech to the youth calling on them to dream big. Speaking to over 5,000 youths at the Kathmandu Youth Conclave, 2023 held on Saturday (August 26), Kayumov urged the budding enthusiastic individuals to be passionate and inspired to realize their goals in life.
The Kathmandu Youth Conclave was a youth-centric leadership event that drew participants from diverse educational backgrounds, communities, and regions to a common symposium. The flagship event was held at the Nepal Academy Hall under the theme, “Inspiring Youth, Leading the Nation.”
Kayumov was one of the key inspirational speakers at the event. He cashed in on the opportunity to inspire the youths who were between 16 to 25. In his spirited speech, the 42-year-old Ncell supremo urged the aspirant youths to be hungry and learn to work with passion and perseverance. Likewise, he encouraged the participants to be competitive and work harder to turn their dreams into reality.
He said, “Competition makes you better. Good competitors make you even better.”

The newly-appointed Ncell CEO Kayumov also shared his journey, experiences, and key leadership principles with the observant audience. He stressed the importance of planning and having grit to succeed. “If you want to do better and want to achieve bigger, you need to have passion to learn and dream what you believe in and visualize to make it happen,” he added.
“I am truly inspired to witness the energy of our youths and connect with them in person. This conclave indeed provided an ideal platform for Ncell to reaffirm its commitment to nurturing youths and promoting local talent. I am equally thankful to the team of KYC for having me as one of the speakers and allowing me to share my thoughts among the youths”.

The event also had other popular Nepali figures. Revered Ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit, famous Master Chef Santosh Shah, Trail Runner Mira Rai, CEO of eSewa Jagdish Khadka, Cricketer Paras Khadka, and spiritual leader Rupesvara Gaura Das, etc. were also among the other inspirational speakers. The Kathmandu Youth Conclave was a joint effort of Universal College and Phoenix College of Management. The objective of the event was to bring knowledge, skills, and experiences of accomplished individuals to the youths.
