How to watch Asia Cup 2023 live in Nepal?

You can watch the Asia Cup 2023 live in Nepal on TV, apps, and websites. Some of them are official, while others are online secondary options. Below is more in detail:

  • Star Sports Network: For viewers in Nepal and India, Start Sports Network will broadcast the Asia Cup 2023 live. You can catch the live action on Start Sports 1 Hindi and English and on the HD channel. The Indian broadcaster has the exclusive right to air the competition in Nepal.
  • ISPs to screen Nepali matches: Nepal’s two ISPs WorldLink and Dish Home screened the inaugural Nepal/Pak match at various cinemas, restaurants, and malls across Nepal. While they were not broadcasting the match themselves, the public was able to enjoy the match with hundreds in the open thanks to the screening. If you are out in the open and want to enjoy the matches, these two ISPs will most likely cover more matches, particularly the ones Nepal plays in. Find out details: WorldLink and Dish Home screen Asia Cup 2023 cricket live for free
  • Disney+ Hotstar app: The tournament will also air on Disney+ Hotstar but the OTT app won’t be available in Nepal. Likewise, no major OTT apps in Nepal seem to have announced to broadcast the matches in the country.
  • Updates on Hamro Patro: Super app Hamro Patro has announced that it will bring live coverage of the Asia Cup 2023 for users. We believe that by coverage, the company meant scorecards/updates instead of the audio/visual content. When we have more on it, we will update it here too. In other news, the mega-popular Hamro Patro app has landed in India. Read more here: Hamro Patro registered in India
  • Cricinfo: The popular ICC-run cricket website Cricinfo.com will be another helpful online source to catch up with all the scores and updates. There is no streaming facility however, the website does bring the latest information for all the matches.
  • CAN: CAN will air pre-match and post-match shows on its YouTube channel. The program will discuss and analyze the games before and after the matches. So, if you frequently visit YouTube, then you can check out the CAN YouTube channel to get the match updates and analysis by experts.
  • Websites: The tournament will be available through websites for streaming. However, they may contain adware and malware and your experience of watching the match live may become forgettable. Much of the time, the video on such portals faces disruption and frequent stoppage. You may also need to be careful against importing viruses onto your computer through dubious links or automatic app downloads. In sum, it almost becomes preferable to get the live score updates than having to fret with buffering on streaming. But we are not denying any luck here. NetTV No show

Earlier, there were suggestions that WorldLink’s IPTV service NetTV could broadcast Asia Cup 2023 matches live. But the possibility has now faded with the highly-anticipated Nepal vs. Pakistan match already played out without being on its platforms. In addition, it’s also a certainty now that no OTT apps in Nepal will bring these matches live in Nepal. That leaves Nepali viewers with Star Network’s channels on television.

When will the Asia Cup 2023 Match Nepal vs. Pakistan start and where?

In the first match, Rohit Pudel-led Nepal and Pakistan will bat it out at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Punjab starting at 3:15 PM Nepali time. The final of the tournament is on September 17 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Cricket matches involving Nepal has created record internet traffic as many would browse the internet for live score updates and stream. The Nepal-USA ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 rocketed Nepal’s internet traffic to 81.46 Gbps. It won’t be a surprise if we witness a similar trend this time around as well.
