eSewa brought a new facility called “Swift Account Switch” which allows users to use a single eSewa app for both merchants (business) and personal accounts. It means that individual users can link their business merchant accounts and see their transactions without having to manage multiple accounts.

The company brought a new feature ‘eSewa Business Link’, which allows users to manage both their personal and business accounts through a single eSewa app. It also includes a ‘Swift Account Switch’ feature, which makes the process of switching accounts easier.

With this latest service, eSewa merchants will be able to link their business accounts to their individual user accounts. It enhances users’ versatility and adds more convivence to use eSewa platforms for the merchants.

It also means a perfect scenario when business owners do not have to download two different apps, bother with two different accounts, and monitor each all the time. If you have just one device for all these, things must have been a little bit bothersome for you, not anymore now. It’s now one account for all.

Prior to this, eSewa merchants had to create a separate app for their personal usage. In simpler terms, one would have to create separate merchant and personal accounts in eSewa- one for merchant and another for regular personal use.

With the new Swift Account Switch feature, users can easily switch between their merchant/business and personal profiles. It enables merchants to check their business’s payments and monitor expenses, and transactions while also allowing payment of utility bills, money transfers, etc.

The feature rids users of having to use more than one phone or apps or accounts for their business and personal use.

Use a single eSewa app for all scenarios

The ability to use the same eSewa app for merchant and personal accounts has its benefits. With this feature, users can manage both their Merchant Profile and User or Agent accounts on a single interface. It also allows you to monitor payments, check balance details, etc. from the same app.

As for payment notifications, eSewa says that users get notified in the notification section of the eSewa app. Likewise, the app also sends notifications of transactions made on the merchant account linked in the app.

Among other benefits, users can easily withdraw money from a settlement bank account that’s linked to a merchant account.

Discussing the facility, eSewa’s Chief Business Officer (CBO) Ashish Gautam says it benefits merchants by saving their time and helping them in better financial management.
