The private ISP’s internet service was disrupted after its data center in CG Digital Park, Satungal, caught fire. The company has expressed its admiration for customers’ time, patience, and trust during historically tough times.
According to the company, on Tuesday, Bhadra 24, 2082, its major data center was severely affected by fire. However, the company operated with its backup data center, which was secure. The services couldn’t work to full capacity because, the company says, its infrastructure was damaged significantly.

Additionally, CG Net says that it faced problem with human resources to manage the network traffic of all of its customers. This caused nationwide internet service outages for its customers.

CG Net says that its internet service has been restored for all customers across Nepal. But with cable breakage, burnt cables, and other difficulties, it’s not able to fully restore service in some areas. The company says that it’s fully committed to restoring internet and IPTV services as quickly as possible.
The repair and maintenance efforts are also aided by the conclusion of Gen Z protests.
